  • 5/19/07: 1st Board of Directors meeting

  • 5/2007: The ETHICS Society goes to hear Julian Bond, NAACP Board Chairman speak at University of Louisville.

  • 5/2007: The ETHICS Society elects its first leadership team.

  • 6/30/2007: The Office of Youth Development views our business plan and awards The Steward's Staff a $1,000 grant.

  • 7/2007: The ETHICS Society volunteered at the 2007 Senior Olympics.

  • 8/12/2007: Yum! Brands agree to sponsor the Inaugural Unity Breakfast.

  • 9/2007: The ETHICS Society participates in the Louisville AIDS Walk

  • 9/2007: TMG initiates its 3rd Cycle

  • 10/2007: Central and Western High Schools request The ETHICS Society Chapters for their schools.

  • 10/24/07: TMG Males is launched

  • 10/2007: Partnership initiated with Service for Peace

  • 11/2007: King Arthur’s Court program is launched

  • 11/2007: The Center for Health Equity partners with The Steward's Staff with the West Louisville Vision.  The Steward's Staff gives leadership to the Youth Empowerment Component.  The Center writes letter of support regarding the work and programs of The Steward's Staff.

  • 12/24/07: The Steward's Staff spends Christmas Eve with the men of King Arthur’s Court at the Chestnut YMCA

  • 1/10/08: Dr. Beverly Keepers, Manual High School Principal, endorses The Steward's Staffs’ ETHICS Society program, writing a letter of support to the JCPS Board, suggesting more chapters throughout Metro Louisville

  • 1/21/08: The Steward's Staff hosts its first special event, The Inaugural Unity Breakfast.  This first-time event (in its likeness) welcomed 400 guests.

  • 1/21/08: The Steward's Staff receives proclamations from 3rd District Congressman, John Yarmuth and 4th District Metro Louisville Councilman, David Tandy.

  • 2/7/08: Nonprofit Day at the Capitol; only minority executive present throughout Kentucky, as well as the youngest.

  • 3/29/08:  Louisville Faith Walk, co-sponsored with Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness, Norton Healthcare, State Farm Insurance, the Mayor’s Healthy Hometown Movement and the Northwest Area Health Education Center






Founded in 2007, The Steward’s Staff vision is of a world in which every person is equipped with the necessary skills to combat various social obstacles which may impair individuals from obtaining their goals.  The Steward’s Staff is dedicated to empowering individuals through leadership development, community engagement, and positive reinforcement of self-awareness and esteem; thereby, ultimately creating a unified world.
